What Kinds of Cosmetics Are Here?
Unlike other gear slots, it’s pretty standard here: Boots, Shoes and Trousers. As far as I am aware, skirts don’t really exist at least in terms of Festival cosmetics. If you want dresses, you’ll need to see the Upper Body Cosmetics, instead.
What’s Not Here?
I have yet to enter all the items I own from Yule or Spring Festival, but in terms of events, many of the rest are below.
For those two events, I’ve provided image galleries. These will remain in place until I’ve had a chance to complete the data entry for them.
Such-and-such Event Is Not Listed!
More “minor” events do not have their own tab. By that I mean either events that are rarely run (such as Ill Omens) or where the cosmetics almost never change (such as Buried Treasure). However their items are on this page, if you see the “All” tab.

How to Use this Tool
As with the head cosmetics, I’ve organised the outfit items here by festival/event, but also included a “Style” tab or section. This has the key groupings in it.
If you still can’t find what you’re looking for, see the “All Tab”, but be patient as the images load, please.
My Trousers or Shoes Aren’t Showing!
Possible causes:
- Many upper body cosmetics have trousers included. These cannot be overwritten by what is equipped in the lower-body gear slot.
- Some upper body cosmetics some (as well as the full sets) also have shoes or boots built in.
- If you’re a Hobbit, you’re not allowed to buck the trend and wear shoes with certain upper-body pieces even if you equip them.

TL;DR Not as much choice for the Lower Body and Feet Cosmetics
It does get tricker to fine-tune an outfit when you have fewer legs/feet cosmetics to play with. Remember you can supplement the Festival/Event cosmetics with crafting, reputation gear and any LOTRO Store purchases too. Do check out guild crafting also, as those recipes often have appearances you cannot find elsewhere in-game. Enjoy playing dress-up in Middle-Earth!
