The heavy-set Boots of the Unflagging Dragon are probably the most "scale plate" looking item of the set. While scales appear throughout the other Unflagging Dragon items, the boots at least appear to be made of a gold-coloured metal. Also, it may look like there are kneepads here and, for a Hobbit, they're not far from the knees, Big Folk will find this is not the case. Here's their appearance on the Wiki

You'd be forgiven for assuming the boots would have dragon feet, but the toes are more like leaves of gold than claws.
