I want to like the Horse Archer's Trousers - and I mean that honestly. It's because so often trousers are lumped together with tunics. But the Horse Archer's Jacket makes customisable leg cosmetics possible.
Horse Archer's Trousers Cosmetic
Most of this is positive - LOTRO's materials have started looking really good recently. The soft-leather looking material here is a testament to that. You have extra leg buckles for style - because there's no practical reason for them. LOTRO is an MMO, and MMO players care about their appearance. Well, their character's appearance.
Why I Struggle with This Piece.
It might be because I play a female character and LOTRO have gone through various iterations on the female human body, especially since the avatar redesign. But the legs don't meet to nice seams at the front, where you would want to be comfortable on a horse.
The material kinda sags down at the front and that spoils the look for me. I think the Wiki has this on a female Elf and it doesn't look much better, to be honest.
