If you started your character's story in Limsa Lominsa, you do not need to seek the Bogy purposefully. The 
MSQ will take you to Seasong Grotto 1, which is where they are.
Where is the Bogy?
The grotto I just mentioned is marked on your Middle La Noscea map. If you trace the road South-West from Summerford Farm, you'll spot it. The bogies are underground at that location.
Also, if you've just been clearing Bee Clouds, the grotto is North of one bee hotspot.
