Of all the 2023 Midsummer Festival cosmetics, the Summer Concert Cloak is by far my favourite. Hoodless, of course, to anyone who knows I don't like hoods! That is also true in the so-called "real world" too.
Description
In wonderful shades of gold and deep blue, it strikes a good balance between patterned and plain material. The middle section is plain, except for some faux folds, while the top and bottom show bright, summery flowers.
The reason this is my favourite (followed closely by the Summer Concert Boots) is that this could be made to complement other types of outfits.
How Well Does It Dye?
As with the matching tunic, the material is a little shiny. So, don't expect dyes to be bold. That said, the cloak does reflect the dye pretty well.
Go ahead and incorporate your favourite colours into the outfit. That's why the dyes exist, after all!
