The Snowy Dress is more than just the Snowy Tunic with a long skirt added. The upper body part is only similar in that it has the buttoned strips on them and shares the same colour scheme. The dress' sleeves are still long, as you'd expect for Winter. But instead of being in two portions like the tunic, it's one long sleeve, ending in an elegant outward-turned cuff.
Lower Body
The snowflake motif curves down the skirt with smaller ones at the top compared to those lower down. I guess that shows perspective - snowflakes in your face appear larger, of course. The snowy dress does have in-build shoes. However, as the skirt ends at the ankles, you can more-or-less ignore them.
Gloves
I will reconfirm this, but I believe this outfit item, as with many of its kind, prevents you displaying gloves. Not exactly logical for Yule, I admit!
