This Anniversay cosmetic is sort of cross between pauldrons that would normally cover the whole shoulders and pads that vary in design. The Pauldrons of the Unflagging Dragon are very angular, with the (default) red material attaching the gold scale plate to the rest of the outfit. After looking a bit closer, I think that, instead of scales, the pauldrons' metal is representing flames.
This cosmetic works with the overall Unflagging Dragon set, but I'm not sure how well it would work with a different ensemble.
