Probably the most versatile element of this set is the Breastplate of the Unflagging Dragon. As all the red material dyes, you're left with the golden scale armour on the chest area and down the middle. And it does, somehow, feel like a good hybrid breastplate that is both protective and non-restrictive. You have a broad belt around the waist, held together with a celtic-knot inspired, shield-shaped buckle.
And now I've described it again, I may have to give it a go in an outfit again!

How Well Does It Dye?
If you'll excuse an old avatar screenshot, I've shown what it looks like dyed black. In fact I've dyed all the pieces in the set black. Except the helmet which I...never wore after taking the screenshots that year! I will need to reacquire it during the LOTRO Anniversary Event this year.
