While I think the matching Hat is in Bombadil's style, the Jacket of a Merry Fellow is quite neat and tidy for such a wild man. However, the colour is totally lore-correct. But I really love this cosmetic from Spring Festival.
It is multi-layered: On the outside is a sea-blue long coat, followed by a terracotta waistcoat and finally a white/cream undershirt. Is also comes with trousers, but no in-built shoes, because LOTRO made separate Boots of a Merry Fellow.
How Well Does It Dye?
Very well! Judge for yourself:
You can also see here that it fits my female human as well as my female Hobbit. So put it on any of your characters - it's a fab creation. The Wiki shows it on a man (as in human), and you can see it on my male Hobbit below.
Trick of the Light
What shade of blue you see on this seems to depend on the light level. In some lights it looks almost turquoise/teal, but it is genuinely blue.
