As the servers had to be brought back down, I accidentally rushed my shots of this item. The ones here are fine but the Chestplate of Crystal Resolve is a long tunic, not just a breastplate. LOTRO have done a great job of combining polished plate armour with chainmail, yet making it feel like it also has style.The gold edging and patterns are not overdone, and the short sleeves have the signature steel blue also.
As you'll see from the shot below, below the waist you have more of that steel blue, but in cloth and edged in a rich, brown leather. The Crystal theme is subtly reinforced between that material and extra chainmail underneath. Thankfully, the apparently-baggy trousers underneath are mostly covered up!
