Mount Description
Looking at the date itw as released, I think the Steed of the Ithilien Winter was the first Yule Festival mount I ever had. And I am still glad it is in my collection.
The horse (or pony, for the Small Folk) itself is a pale grey and has a near-white mane and tail.
Its sole cosmetic is the caparison, which is subtly-textured and edged with white. Here is a shot of it closer up:
A few areas are black - mostly under your saddle and across the steed's front. Emblazoned on both sides is the Ithilien Crest, hence the name.
Similar to the Steed of the Ithilien Winter
While, obviously, not sporting this particular crest, the Osgiliath Steed is of a similar design. Have a look at the LOTRO Curator Mounts for more details.
