The beautiful Cloak of New Growth is a wonderfully cheery back cosmetic from Spring Festival 2023. While it is the only new clothing item this year, it looks fab and season-appropriate.
Cloak of New Growth Description
Coming in hooded and hoodless variations, the material is in alternating green strips, shaped like the edges of leaves. Or so I like to think of it, anyway.
It is edged in wavy gold, with small, pink three-petal blossoms down each side. It really is worthy of the Spring Cosmetics classification.
A Note on the Hood
Below, you can see the Hooded version. There's nothing to write home about the hood portion. It's just a standard, stitched one, in the darker of the greens from the main cloak.
Does It Dye?
Yes! And very well too. Here are three colour previews for you.
Its default colour appears to be Dark Green Dye.
