Sundrakes are the battle creatures of the Amalj'aa. As such, they are found in Southern Thanalan. This breed specifically roams the Sagolii Desert in the South-Eastern corner.
Involved in MSQ
If this is your first Hunting Log or character, then you may not need to purposefully go and hunt them. They are part of the MSQ quest The Drake Exception.
Regardless of which class you're hunting for, that quest asks for more Sundrakes to be slain than you require for your log.
