Mount Description
Well, I thought LOTRO's new Elk of the Forest-spirit had just used the model from the Elk of the Spring Wood. I was wrong, the antlers on this one are amazing!
Add to that the beautiful and tasteful use of autumn leaves and flowers, and this is a mount worth getting excited about and worth the 
60 Fall Festival Tokens price.
My Opinion of the Elk of the Forest-spirit
There are potentially a few too many straps for an already-trained Elk, but the rest works great. The minimalist design, coupled with bonus leaves at different leg joints, offers a great contrast with its dark fur.
It even shares the tassles and buttons from the Tunic of the Forest-spirit.
But it all feels natural enough, which for the Deer and Elk, I prefer. You have the honour of riding it, it does not have the honour of carrying you.
No War-Steed Cosmetics?
Sadly not. Whenever a mount is an Elk, it is counteracted by also not having War-Steed Cosmetics. The team would have had to design a horse mount at the same time to make that possible. But there are still some Fall Fest War-Steed Cosmetics to choose from.
