Unlike the Treasure Hunter's Satchel, the Treasure Hunter's Rucksack is a backitem in how it appears. It's a larger version of the satchel with even more gold, just hanging nicely there for someone to sneak up behind you and steal a few coins.
NB: skewering your rucksack with a spear or javelin will not class as "accidental damage"!
How to Obtain the Treasure Hunter's Rucksack
Large Treasure Caches
during the event can drop them for you. However, you can also barter 150×
for it. Though don't do this until you're done with the event. It would be annoying to pay tokens only to dig up a perfectly functional one for yourself!
