Who Can Take Part?

The only prerequisite is characters that are Level 15 and over. This is similar to other FFXIV Events.

However, as it takes place in Ul’dah, if you started in Gridania or Limsa Lominsa, you’ll have another “hoop” to jump through.

Because you’ll need airship access, you will need to be doing – or have completed the relevant “Envoy” quest:

• The Gridanian Envoy
• The Lominsan Envoy

You’ll find him in Ul’dah, not too far from the Aetheryte Plaza. Here’s the map from the official page

He is a Lalafell, so if you start the event on day one, look instead for the huge crowd! You may want to put nameplates on NPCs to be able to select him if he’s totally crushed under people’s feet.

Where Does the Fan Come From?

He then tells you that Aldiytha of House Thorn wanted to find out about the fan’s origins. In case you’re new to the event, this girl has appeared in a few events’ stories and is known for suffering from chronic poor health. As someone with Fibromyalgia, I can sympathise!

Where is Aldiytha?

The Royal Senechel says “the Golden Court”. The nearest Aetheryte Shards are the Gladiators Guild
and the Weavers Guild.

Through the story, you take part in the investigation in her place so that she doesn’t overexert herself. You’ll uncover the history of the fan, where the Little Ladies’ Dance came from and how it affects Aldiytha.
