Ah, the fuzzy creatures that spell doom if you're a fan of Mun-Tuy Beans. Finding an Opo-opo will not be difficult, but if Lancer is your first class, just be aware that these Opo-opos are Level 9 so don't go much under that level. There are loads of them too.
Note: I always forget that there are some Level 2 Opo-opos. These can be found around X:25, Y:28 in the North Shroud.

New Gridania: Take the Yellow Serpent Gate
Finding Them
To locate them, take the Yellow Serpent Gate from Gridania, keep the hill on your right and follow it around. You'll find the little scamps right up to the bridge that's North of you.
Over that bridge are the Midge Swarms needed for the Archer Hunting Log Rank 1.
