The Wintertide Cloak from LOTRO's Yule Festival has been around since 2013, yet it still seems to work well. It's based on a midnight blue, but then divided into quarters. In the centre, a huge circle is cut out and filled with a snowflake-of-snowflakes. It's not quite a Celtic version of a fractal, but it's a good approximation!
As with the Wintertide Robe, there are plenty of snowflakes. But it somehow doesn't feel too many, because the smaller ones form a "background", I think.
Anyhow, the top of the cloak (just under the hood on the hooded version) is furry. As someone who has painful shoulders all the time, I can see the value in keeping them warm!
