Zahar'ak Fortune-teller Location in FFXIV
Book of Netherfire 1 Enemy

FFXIV Zahar'ak Fortune-teller | Book of Netherfire 1 Enemy Target

Common Misspellings/Typos

Zaharak Fortune-tellerZaharak Fortune Teller

I realised that the Zahar'ak Fortune-teller is one of those enemies who turns up when you don't want them to but is annoying to find when you try to hunt them!

The reason for this is that they patrol throughout the Amalj'aa stronghold, attacking any of us within level range and intruding on any and all FATEs in the area!

Fortune-tellers are not Thaumatuges

FFXIV Zahar'ak Thaumaturge | Grand Company Hunting Log Target

Except they kinda are!

The Fortune-tellers look like Zahar'ak Thaumaturges. The former wander around a lot more, but if you want to be efficient, then put nameplates on for unengaged enemies.

I wanted to keep the Book of Netherfire guide as uncluttered as possible, so I have moved the larger route map to here.

In Amalj'aa Quests

If you're still working on reputation for the Circe of Ash (Amalj'aa Tribal quests), then you can hunt the Fortune-tellers at the same time. Pick up Repeatable Quest Fire-spitting ImageExternal Link (Opens in New Window/Tab) before you head off to clear your Netherfire target.
