Yeah, you're not kidding! Are these Lalafell-sized? Not that I ever want to see an enemy called "Lalafell-sized Hornet"! Anyhow, the Huge Hornets can be found just outside Ul'dah's Gate of Nald, near Stonesthrow. This isn't the only area either, but as there are other targets not far away, I think the respawn times here are short.
Take down the Huge Hornet before it takes you down then run away and forget you ever saw its enormous stinger.

Difference in Hunting Logs
The Huge Hornet appears in Thaumaturge Hunting Log Rank 1 and also Pugilist Rank 1. But there are slight differences:
- Thaumaturge: Difficulty 2, three required.
- Pugilist: Difficulty 1, four required.
