Fire Sprites are found all over the place, as with other Elemental sprites and, unsurprisingly, usually near fire and/or in hot areas. They're also very pretty and mesmerising - and (except when involved in a FATE or Leve) are passive, so they only attack you when you hit them first. Seems fair enough.
The Thaumaturge Hunting Log Rank 3 suggests The Red Labyrith in Southern Thanalan. But I think this is just because it roughly matches the level of the log. I forgot to check if any Fire Sprite will do. If you cleared this with those you find <L10, can you tweet me
