While the two varieties of the Summer Tunic and Trousers naturally are made of the same fabrics and textures as the Summer Dresses, there are differences. The most obvious is that the tunic features more of the brown “leather” look. This forms the major part of the body section and, on the long-sleeved variation, the lower sleeves too. I’ve always preferred tunics to dresses in LOTRO – and that’s not related to me being male either((See: Why Do Men Play Female Characters in Games?)). I just feel they represent the my female characters’ body shapes better.
And in this case, I much prefer the leather portion than the green checks. This is a very old cosmetic, so it’s no surprise the in-built trousers are just plain brown, but for its age it still has that “comfortable wear” feeling.
