But as all good MMO players know, the Elven "magic" is in hiding the practical stuff and making us look stylish instead. Well, Samwise would call it "magic" - Galadriel just has a curious bewilderment at not understanding what he even means.
That aside, they are kinda neat - but you'd have to be selective about what outfits you'd put them with. And technically they dye, but it's just the tiniest border around the edge. So you decide if it's worth the cost/effort of dying them or not.
