The Tunic and Trousers of New Bloom from LOTRO's Spring Festival is one I still use in outfits now, or even on its own with boots sometimes. It's casual enough for out of combat wear, yet also works on its own.
My main character's sister often uses it along with the Fine Grey Company Wrap, for example.
Tunic and Trousers of New Bloom Description
Please Stop Using These Sleeves!
I'll start with what I dislike, then I can focus on the good stuff. So many of LOTRO's older templates have the awful "wrapped leather" around the lower arms. This detracts from the fresh design of the actual tunic. If my characters wore gloves or vambraces more often I wouldn't notice!
The Other 99%
Apart from that I really like this New Bloom tunic set. It starts with a double-layered, high collar, with the default green almost like like leaves. Two strips of material attach losely towards the waist where they join a leather and bright yellow belt.
The upper body segment has some ornate stem/vine patterns, but these are not overdone. This pattern appears once more over the hips.
The rest of the material is lightly textured in a fresh green that is a tasteful nod to the season.
How Well Does It Dye?
Apart from those hideous sleeves, it dyes really well!
Does It Include Footwear?
Blissfully, nope.
