Right, so the first thing I need to say about the Greenfields Hat is that you don't get it by bartering 
Spring Leaves at Spring Festival. It is available during that event, but it is actually a quest reward!
How to Get the Greenfields Hat
It is one of the selectable rewards for completing various Bullroarer's Challenge quests. Bullroarer's Challenge Advanced
. That is what I call "Drunken Fence Walking" - or something similar!
It wasn't until 2023 when I finally owned a hat but I did not do an advanced version to get it!
